Hi, I’m Barb Rockenbach, and I to take a couple minutes to talk to you about simplifying and automating your data collection. In this video, we’ll show you how Allvue can help you standardize data collection workflows to more efficiently collect portfolio company KPIs. Let’s get started!

Allvue’s data collection tools aim to help clients collect and analyze data in the form that best fits their business. For clients that are looking to achieve standardization and build an automated process around data collection, Allvue provides a data collection portal where portfolio companies can submit KPIs. This portal presents each portfolio company with a template that will appear unique to each portfolio company or industry.

Here, KPIs can be filled out through the front end or imported into the system. Each template is configurable by the GP using a master template where they can create unlimited KPIs and calculated fields, then filter down from the master to create personalized portfolio company templates.

In addition to financials, the system allows clients to create custom non-financial metrics and ESG metrics. To meet the growing demand of ESG metrics, the system comes with standard ESG templates for every GICS industry.

To help further drive standardization and to create automated processes, the system also allows clients to build approval workflows and automated notifications for each template. Every participant in the workflow receives a secure link to review and approve the data before it is ultimately sent into the analytics solution.

Lastly, for ad hoc data ingestion or less standardized data collection processes, Allvue provides tools such as an Excel mapping wizard for easy scraping of Excel spreadsheets and loading of disparate data into the analytics solution.
