FirmView® Carry, Co-Invest and Compensation Management

FirmView® is Allvue’s carry, co-investment, and compensation management platform, acquired from PFA Solutions in December 2024 and now fully integrated into the Allvue ecosystem. It is the alternative investment industry’s most comprehensive tool for managing carried interest allocations, employee co-investments, base salary, bonuses, and other compensation arrangements across the full employee lifecycle — purpose-built for private equity, private debt, and venture capital firms.

FirmView® supports fund-level and deal-by-deal carried interest structures, including detailed allocation profiles, vesting and forfeiture schedules, unrealized carry tracking and forecasting, distribution processing with withholdings, and e-signature workflows. It models complex LPA carry structures and produces employee-facing carry statements via a self-service participant portal — eliminating the spreadsheets and manual calculations that most PE firms currently use for carry management.

FirmView® Compensation, Planning, and Recommendations (CPR) replaces spreadsheet-based compensation cycles with a structured workflow that includes department-specific compensation pools, manager approval workflows, automated compliance with salary and bonus guidelines, and mid-year and year-end processing. HR and finance teams can configure pool structures, approval chains, and payout rules without relying on external consultants or custom development.

Yes. FirmView® includes a Participant Portal that gives employees self-service access to total compensation statements aggregating base, bonus, co-investment, carry, and management company equity in one view. The portal also includes carry analytics, allocation reporting, distribution notices, and interactive dashboards — improving transparency and retention by helping employees understand the full value of their compensation package.

Because FirmView® is now part of the Allvue platform, carry calculations can be informed by fund accounting waterfall data — ensuring that realized carry distributions are consistent with the fund-level books maintained in Allvue’s Fund Accounting module. This eliminates the version-control risk that arises when carry management software and fund accounting systems are maintained separately, a common problem for firms that built their carry tracking on Excel.

FirmView® is purpose-built for alternative investment firm economics — carry waterfalls, LPA-aligned distribution modeling, co-investment tracking, and institutional HR compensation cycles at PE and credit firms.
