October, 2016, Rotterdam, Netherlands: AltaReturn, the leading provider of cloud based end-to-end business software solutions for the private equity, venture capital and alternative investment industry, is pleased to announce its further expansion into Europe by opening a second office in Rotterdam, Netherlands as well as the appointment of Erwin Quartel as Consulting Manager.
AltaReturn has chosen the Netherlands for its second base in Europe, showing its commitment to further expansion in the continent of Europe. Erwin’s appointment is part of AltaReturn’s on-going focus on customer advocacy, successful implementation and customer success.
Erwin brings with him 21 years of professional experience, 16 years of which have been spent in the Alternative Investments industry. Erwin joins AltaReturn from Robeco, where he spent 15 years in the private equity fund of funds group in various roles including Investment Director Emerging Markets and most recently Head of Operations. In his final role, he was responsible for the implementation of the AltaReturn Solution Suite notably the Fund Accounting Solution. Erwin has an MSc. In Business Administration from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a post graduate degree in Financial Controlling.
